Bringing life to

what has been forgotten

At Baird Salvane & Refit, we bring forgotten, neglected, and tired spaces back to life.

Not with flashy overhauls or unnecessary upgrades, but with thoughtful, practical improvements that make homes feel happy again, outdoor spaces safe again, and commercial properties inviting again.

We believe in doing what actually needs to be done. No fluff. No overbuilding. Just smart work that helps properties move forward.

If a space has potential, we help uncover it.

Welcome!

We specialize in targeted repairs, updates, and refreshes that make a real difference, especially when a full remodel isn’t needed or wanted.

What we do

If it’s broken, worn down, unsafe, or dragging a property down, we fix the problem without turning it into a full-blown remodel.

who we are

Baird Salvage & Refit is a family-run, local business with deep roots in the Inland Northwest. This region isn’t just where we work, it’s home. Our family has been here for generations, and we care deeply about the places and people that make this area what it is.

In fact, our family built one of Spokane’s earliest homes to feature a built-in refrigerator, a small piece of local history that reflects something bigger about how we work: we’ve always believed in practical innovation, thoughtful craftsmanship, and building spaces that actually serve the people living and working in them.

We’re not a big corporate contractor. We’re neighbors. We’re the people who want to see our communities thrive, our neighborhoods feel cared for, and our local homes and businesses treated with respect.

Because this is our home, we take our work personally.

When we restore a tired house, make an outdoor space safe again, or help a commercial property come back to life, we’re investing back into the places we love.

This isn’t just work to us. It’s taking care of our home, one space at a time.
